We shall not dwell in presence of cruel contempt
That distorts the soothing winds of promise
Forever stranding us
In a loathsome, barren abyss
Too long I withheld the nightmarish vision
Of offspring stripped from motherly arms
Youth brutally tarnished, among the dusts of turmoil
And conjured by greatness, far, far away
We shall not seek valor in vengeance
To squelch the cries of the squandered innocent
To validate our onslaughts
Our boundless arsenals
Our fuel for Armageddon
Twice the world over
Peace is held
Tucked away in every spirit
Awaiting the demise of fallacy
The expulsion of the callous and crude
A joyous capitulation
And a jubilant downfall
Release your affections
Let them rise and billow from within
Let all defenses falter
And be flooded with bliss
And live
With a whole heart and solid mind
But we shall not forget
Whilst shackled to reverence
For the tarnished youth
Now look to us all
“An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind”
