Passersby
Were lovers entranced
In their aimless stroll
I’d treasure for all time
Beneath gilded skies
That eternally glimmer
Fulfilled and wholehearted
With pure notions of self
I am drawn to night
Brimmed with lucid wants
Circling the contours
Of my weary thoughts
Their days meander
From shore to shore
Through cobblestone havens
I implore to claim
There are untouched soils
Where affection reigns
Uncorked, unraveled
Unbound from any whim
There I will languish
Hopelessly
Plagued with desire
Swallowed by reckless devotion
