They all await
Those waning streams
My final, fleeting pleas
To the mute, roving skies
In loyal patience
Before the slow inferno
My gradual undoing
Where i diligently simmer
Droves hungrily pry
In feverish search
Of my withering moments
When consciousness recedes
When I’ve given my all
To the frantic elements
Tramped over in my prime
Of no worth
Of no consequence
They all eagerly wait
As blood hungry hounds
Carnivorous onlookers
Awaiting the gallows’ pull
