Ceaseless mutterings
Transpire
In the absolute dark
In the quiet nothingness
Where I am marooned
To revolve past doings
Sharp, and ever-vigilant
Beneath the veil
I pry out the flaws
Scouring ancient trials
I believe unresolved
Musings speed away
And collide
With dormant ears
Against untroubled lives
Sent miles away
By slumber
I shed the curse
That bellows from within
So I may surely rest
And join in the solace of kin
