Clarity eludes
And takes to the bends of night
Drawing curiosity
To meander
In its heated pursuit

So cruel to pry away
These passionate fools
Swindled in the midst
Of their reigning dismay

Foolishness courses
As i jet through these curves
Scouring on end
With no sight of reward

The maddening sway
Is a boundless tussle
A tiring endeavor
Where epiphany
Slowly abates

Deceit engulfs me
Night after night
Where downtrodden thoughts
Fall prey
To aspiration
