Blood Ballads

Blood Ballads

North star ballads
Soar free
From these nimble fingers

Never fearfully tussling
With hardships long spent
In the crackling mayhem
Stained, in Tennessee red

Railroad ballads
All sail with haste
With starved
And desperate zeal

Where the faithful roads
All glimmer anew
As home
To these soulful
Anthems of rage
