The Solitude I Dispense

The Solitude I Dispense

All I bear
Is desolation
The quieted verse
Stalled, in the coils of death

Dissipate
Is the toll I follow
Faithfully trudging
To its solemn
And sobering tune

Give in
Is the prowling ghost
The cancer of dreams

Laboring
To my final
Morsel of whit
