Dissolved in past regrets
The quiet enshrouds
Lapping
All fleeting grains of white
Erosion claims me
In bountiful heaps
In the reeling tide
Swelled, with bygone sorrow
The silence berates
And betrays
As a squanderer of youth
Until, I am dulled
So loathsome, cold and frail
What was once
Treasured bliss
Has grown rabid
And starved
For the feed of distress
