The Common Man’s Valor in Words

The Common Man’s Valor in Words

Rough notions are forged
In this furious skin
This scalding
Brutalized flesh

“No hard feelings lent”
Coasts along
A treacherous refrain
A mask, for servile wants

Within their vise
I am warmly bound
Before vengeful walls
Endeavoring for blood

In the clutter of words
Sheer panic unfolds
From the daily swell
Of the common man’s
Valor in words
