From the bustling circuits
The drone
Of the plastic panes

I take flight in perfect silence
With my roots aflutter
In the welcoming skies

Into fairer winds I sail
For the heart of grandeur
As all I’ve ever known
Unfurls with ease

Peacefully I drift
From the satellites of home
The majesty, the malice
I’ve treasured so long

So suddenly I’m away
Divorced from land
An unbound speck
Enshroud
In the greater unknown
