Fair sailing
Is the unmet dream I wield
Through the heart
Of such heinous days as these
It pales when compared
To a romance held
To a summer day’s welcome
Beyond, a late spring’s veil
Clear and merciful skies
Is the innermost cry
That boils on end
How it’s driven me mad
In these pitiful years
When I’ve tussled in vain
Unheard from all towering disdain
How soon will I meet the hour
When I’m given white shores
And I’m spoiled by silence forevermore
