The mind cartwheels
In this casual, afternoon breeze
As the shorelines swell
With impregnable joy
Far away from the plains
That once sweltered and scorned
Every word free-falls
And blends into ease
Received
By the kindred few
Who all know too well, the desires
That are sheltered within
They are free
To coast and roam
On these wind-chilled shores
Where the story dissolves
So somber and sweet
