Georgia’s Autumn

Georgia’s Autumn

In auburn and golden hues
She enthralls, she envelops
With her southernmost charms

A heavenly drawl
I’ll recall
As I’m stuffed to the brim
With a nourishing spread of emotions

The homestead lives on
In each momentary quarrel
Every outside deed, can never quell
The sheer strength
Of her steel embrace

I recall and recover
In her auburn and gold
In her fragrant revival
Each charitable dawn
