I have swum from the shallows of dawn
Toward a prosperous noon
Toward the depths, of a pulsating dream
For the life that surely awaits
And riddles each morn
With the agony of want,
Looming grander and grander
This powerful labor overcomes
All faces and phases
And the whole of my days are lost
In lust
I sink and arise by the moments
To toil and to reap
A new life of desires
