I reap the ashes
In silver spoons
Sustaining
The vermin
That crawl, deep within
They worm
Ever-thankful
In the grit of passersby
The ruinous mounds
Of wayward strangers
Charred, to a hopeless pulp
By spoonful’s
I thrive
Heartily gorging
On distant trials
In spoonful’s
I join the mad
Ensnared
By their every
Heartless whim
