It’s one of those courageous nights
Filled with wild screams,
Steamed up windows
And primal rhythms
It’s one of those nights
When the planets seem aligned
And every peg falls in place
With unnatural ease
It’s one of those nights
When every stadium explodes in jubilation,
When the Gaslamp is swarmed
By an army of moths
Drawing up their plans,
For their beautiful destruction
It’s one of those nights
That unreels, forever and on
Giving life to the meek,
Giving love, to the lonesome and weary
