Where did she get that twinkle in her eye
which melts stone within me and swirls about my head
until poetry streams from my pen
like moonbeams on a perfect night
Where does she hide the flowers
whose smell announces her arrival
bouncing softly from eyes laughing silently
while seeing rainbows continuously
as she sprinkles her gift
and creates new growth
wherever her hands and feet
find a gentle wind
Where does she go to replenish
that twinkle, that gift
when she finds herself weary but alas,
her source of magic redefines itself daily
and is rejuvenated by its discovery
