A bassline, soothes
And warms my bones
As I glide
For a melody’s swarm
A daily elixir
That calms the frantic
That favors the sick
And reclaims the fallen
The bassline soon fades
Behind, a thunderous new dawn
Of drums
A stern call to arms
So I fearlessly march
With this nurturing shroud
With the bravery of verse
In the favor of song
