It was a long and torturous way
In the hulls of beasts
Through the cold and turbulent waves
It was on a thieving wind
My forefathers wailed and groaned
In the scorn of their bonds
It was a plentiful trail
For the menacing sharks
All prowling in wait
It was and remains
The quietest crime
Engulfed by the sea
By the wrathful abyss
