In the Cold-Hearted Tempest

In the Cold-Hearted Tempest

Miles into the realm of sleep

The outer world downpours

In riotous waters

Parched roads turn to rivers

Their troubled waves crest

With creatures lurking in their depths

Sailing past the dark veil

Of a quieted city

A fear wildly blooms

In the cold-hearted tempest

Twining over and under

Craning for the hardened sky

Spilling over the walls of their fallen Goliath

Mossed- over and brass

Left devoid of a song
