It is a long way to fall
When hurdling toward cruel damnation
Yet Lucifer’s eyes, do not burden me the same
Ever since i came to
Arising, to my once sheltered truth
Draped in the honesty, i once shied away from
In search of those, fated just the same
Ever since
That fateful, frigid night
Drawn in with a moonlit sliver
Screeching from my shadowed ceiling
Where i dissolved,
Swiftly and steadily
Adrift in my fantasies
At peace with my renewed self
Everything i once longed to be
Soon wanes, as i awake to my static realizing
Rummaging was second nature
Sifting through my troubled deceit
My horrid blood letting
As i cast my falsehoods aside
And favor these true colors
Shunned and forbidden,
by our purist overlords
And with a flamboyant stride
Every item of torment, crumbles
Every school yard ambush
Ducking and weaving home
Every slur that was flung
Conjuring tears just the same from the rocks
They all swelter, in the chasm I clearly embark for
It is a long way to fall
When hurdling toward cruel damnation
Yet Lucifer’s eyes, do not burden me the same
Ever since i came to
Arising, to my once sheltered truth
Draped in the honesty, i once shied away from
In search of those, fated just the same
