Quiet your pondering
Your storms of revamped meanderings
Your torrents of obsessive ramblings
Engulfed by the wild
And scuttled by reason
For in the absolute dark of silence
We may, drift beyond our conscious veil
We may, levitate renewed
Ensnared by the promise
To lay claim upon the mist shroud unknown
Quiet all revelations!
All epiphanies must yield their worth!
Every spent word of gratitude
Every darkness clad monologue
Every prayer uttered beneath the wing of secrecy
Shall not carry on!
Above us, lies shiftless perfection
Wandering through our wasted days
Aloof to the current mantra
Unmoved by our present dismay
Around us, is the ease we long for
Hindered by our boiled over aggressions
Hollowed out, by our debt to “the greater good”
And shriveled by an evil thirst,
That callously screeches: more and more!
Wash out all sound
Wash out all sound
And brave the silence, with your own held peace
Answer unto the looming hallow
Both lionhearted and wide eyed
