The bereavement
Of landlocked seclusion
Is instilled into the fiber
Of my foremost footsteps
Winded thoughts
Breed winded assertions
Ineffective, cold and stale
Farewell to glimmering romance
The gracious horizons
I’ve aspired to attain
There is only
My whirling peril
The restless stirring
I have long wished to contain
So much for patient relief
Stoically lingering
Upon bone white shores
Of untouched exuberance
I can no longer
Dream to falter
To revel in the certainty
Of their cool and tranquil embrace
