I’d witness the crown of ivory shores
That envelope far horizons
With loyal and stern mountains
While I peer and strain hopefully
For the jagged towering pillars
Of moss covered tenure
Centuries on end
The vessel would plow and steam
And cleave the frigid waves
Consistent, strong and certain
As the sea abates
And mystery looms and sprawls
For untouched ports
I’d voyage in rugged solace
Driven from the plush treasures of home
Into the welcoming wonder
Of secluded plunder
