Deep breathing
Salvages a few
A recovery of the scattered
The frayed streams of thought
Their currents race alone
For the heart of desolation
Sprawling far away
Among stray particles of sanity
The gravest sorrow known
Bursts viciously from within
A shrapnel laden horror
Butchering stomach cavities
With its sinister, bloody gash
The pace of this loop quickens
As a constant whirling nightmare
A dust storm of savagery
Brimmed with captured
Lucid thoughts
Faster and faster
The spiral and the thrash
Consciousness tilts
As familiar ground erodes
The panic sprawls on
Brave and emboldened
By my half-witted
Depleted and shallow breaths
