Summer days
Brewed lovingly
Lay far from a tired reach
Summer days
Seared so masterfully
I long for the warmth you preach
May fair-weather bloom
Coddle my frame
And subdue this cold refrain
To chase away
This jealous gloom
So the youth may sprawl again
Summer days
Of majesty
Roll away from the depths of sleep
Summer days
Have ravaged me
A curse I labor to keep
