In twirling jubilation
While the seas softly buck
And lovers swoon
Upon the journey of their merry paths

Home was omnipresent
Radiating from the faultless sky
A young sky
Of twilit glory
Magnificent whole and unspoiled

The screams of delight
Lord over each patient earlobe
Stoic, towering overseers
That cleave the vast
And savage unknown

I implore to retreat
Into the arms of finer days
Preserved in eternal sun
And endless waves of promise

And all that i claim to be
For a lone drop of naivety
