I realign my footsteps
With the curvatures of song
Each hour I dare to breathe
My exhausted
Teary eyed refrain
My legs veer off
Into the cold, unkempt wilderness
Staggering with instinct
Through the sparse beams of light
They skewer the canopies
To usher me along
Luring my rogue ligaments
For an ideal spot to fall
Restored
I fasten
To my unswerving zenith
Striving to keep rhythm
Yearning to maintain
